GLOVI was invented as a solution to a very sensitive and critical problem that is faced by hospitals and surgeons worldwide; hospital-acquired infections. Thousands of people die following HAIs caused by medical errors that originate from bacterial and viral contamination and transmission to the patient. This device will be responsible for unpacking the surgical gloves from their packaging without any human interference. This process will take place with the help of laser technology. The GLOVI machine will support the medical staff performing this duty to help them prevent using infected gloves and to facilitate the overall process.
